Hopefully the weather will improve before kick off tonight for what will be a tough challenge. Thank goodness we were scheduled to be at home on the original date or we would have been facing a horrible trip to Essex.

Another disappointment last night. Where is the fighting spirit in the side. They play plenty of good football but where is the battling attitude to win at all costs. We have been defeated by sides willing to take us on and battle for victory. Is there a lack of leadership in the team. Leadership starts at the top. We have seen our teams in the past that took no prisoners in their desire to win matches. Is trying to play good football enough?

Very very disappointing performance. We haven't looked like scoring for 2 games. Both Dover and Chelmsford played in exactly the same way, which is what an awful lot of teams at this level do, but we had no answers. OK we missed Fletch but that wasn't an excuse on Saturday.
The defense is pretty strong on the whole and two mistakes have cost us 6 points because we aren't pressurising the opposition enough to get goals ourselves.
I'm not sure we have the players to battle for victory. But we also don't have anyone to unlock a packed defence.
There were several times last night when we had players with loads of space in the attacking right side but nothing came of it. The balls into the box - if we actually produced one - were hopeful at best.
The Havant game appears to have knocked the stuffing out of us.
