I know it is a few weeks off but the Torquay fans are getting very excited by this match. loads have already booked train fares to Bath.
On the Torquay forum:
"I estimated 900-1,000 at WSM on a Tuesday night so could well be 1,500 at Twerton Park. Bath are on form so total gate could reach circa 3,000"
Some say it could be 4,000.
Hope we are well prepared for this!

If Torquay bring 1000 you would certainly hope for a total crowd of about 3000.

I believe it may well be segregated so will need a pop up tea bar at the Bristol end.

Would be fantastic to see an away crowd like that at TP. Unheard of since the visits of AFC Wimbledon and Luton back in the first Conference Premier season.

We'll need to bank a few good results between now and then to keep the momentum and interest up from our end.

Would be great to see the club promoting this heavily as likely to be the biggest attendance at Twerton Park since Woking. Nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd !

Last time they came to TP was 2007 FA Cup 4th qualifying when they won 2-0.  Crowd was 2149.  I remember there was (minor) crowd nonsense at the Bristol end, possibly aggravated by people up at 'Freeview Corner'.  I should think the forthcoming match will be segregated as that match was.

It was a game we could and maybe should have won as I recall. I think there was an uncharacteristic goalkeeper error and also a missed penalty  which meant they led at half-time rather than us.

No official announcement on City's website  - https://www.torquayunited.com/away-bath-city-tickets-on-sale-january-10-at-10am/ - but arrangements made with Torquay.

Where in Twerton Park are Torquay 800 supporters being asked to go?  Segregation?  Which 200 seats?

Charging £3 admin fee to some Torquay fans is worse than the Dulwich fiasco.  Expect most Torquay fans to simply turn up and pay on the gate UNLESS there are plans for ALL TICKET which City supporters don't know about.

I think you generally have to pay for postage and packing if you have something sent to your home so you don't even have to get out of bed to get it.

Only postal orders seem to incur the booking charge and if that includes recorded delivery it seems fair enough. It makes the 75p for the online service at Dulwich very reasonable.

If home fans wish to avoid queues at the turnstiles on the 19th, tickets will be available to purchase at this Saturday’s home match against East Thurrock. Tickets will be on sale from the Club Shop from 2pm until kick off and at half time.

If anyone is unable to do this tomorrow, they will be on sale at the Meet the Manager on Monday evening in the JRL. Cash only please....

And there will also be the opportunity to buy from the club office during the day next week.

I see Torquay have sold out their allocation. My worry now is more are going to turn up and go in the home end, which isn't a concern if they behave but if they don't it could be interesting.

Suspect we'll open up the whole Bristol end and usher away fans through from the City terraces. I hope as many come as possible. Big pay day for City and we'll bust the 1000 BC target easily

The whole Bristol end terrace was made available to Woking fans in 2010 for the play-off final. I appreciate this would increase stewarding costs but if sufficient demand is there then this is what we should do.
