If he wants to feel part of a family that is growing a supporter/community owned club that plays in black and white, he doesn't have to look very far to find a team who will gladly provide an outlet for him to do that.

Indeed. He supported his local football team for 28 years and still does. I think that he has more connection to them that many that support Man Utd or Liverpool and couldn't direct you to their stadiums.
