Great to see Joey Raynes has signed an extension....I assume his is for 2019/20?
When I went to the “meet the manager” event in January, they said that they were working on an extension to Robbie Cundy’s contract as well as Jerry’s (which only runs til end of this season)....really hope we get some good news on those soon too.....

It doesn't actually say how long the extension is for, but like you I assume it's to the end of next season,

Good news.

The biggest contract news I wanted....Gerry commits! Really pleased it's for two extra years rather than one.
I think this should give the club added impetus going into the business end of the season, as well as hopefully encouraging other players (Robbie) to commit.
Such exciting times to be a City fan!

Great news from the club on both these extending their contracts at City. Really pleased all round and especially the commitment made by Jerry which hopefully helps lay the foundations for him to retain a lot of the current squad and build for the future. We are so fortunate to have such a talented and professional manager and players at our club.

People who call Jerry Gill ‘Gerry’ are nearly as annoying as those who call the Popular Side the Poplar Side (but not quite as annoying as those who say ‘should of’!). I’ll get back in my box now.

Well let’s just hope they got the name right on the contract.

I remember the commentator from the Bristol Rovers’ days of Screen Soccer calling him Jerry Jill.

That is correct. I've seen an old photo of the ground somewhere, it may have been in the book 'Stars in Stripes'.
