Great news - Along with others on this forum, I'm sure, I've played on 21st century artificial pitches and they are just fantastic - compared when I first did in the late 80s (Birmingham Festival league) when with our seemingly psychic ability to judge the ridonculous bounce we, at best an average to good team, went unbeaten at home for two seasons....
