Ben Morgan 24, centre back from Gloucester City. Looks like he has a good disciplinary record - no bookings in 58 games with the Tigers. Just 3 in his time at Weymouth.
Is he any good though?

Not sure we need another central defender - don't we already have Batten, Dyer and Parselle? I would have thought a forward was more of a priority as we currently only have Cody and Scott signed on.

Thomas? Certainly a forward at N Leigh last season.

We were short of defenders at times last season so I can understand the need for defensive cover. But you might have expected someone who could play right across the back line. However if we are going to play a back three then four centre backs can be shuffled.

Ben is an imposing presence improving the ability to deal with height at the back. The new goalie is also a giant.
Russe is far more effective than any defensive midfielder we've had in recent years and already you can see the benefit for Tom Smith. Not seen Thomas yet but hopefully he will add a bit more pace going forward.
