If ever there was a time to trial it as a pre-season competition this was it. Maybe next year. Would make so much more sense. Let trialists play.

The Somerset FA decision seems similar to government advice on the virus:-

" therefore the Cups Committee believe that it is in the best interests of our member clubs that Premier Cup does take place and consequently the competition is cancelled for the 2020-2021 season."
The NOT seems to be have been omitted.

They ought to make it a six a side compo on a half pitch all played to a final on one day and make a bit of a festival out of it.
