Creative types for Bath City articles

Post by Mark Tanner on Thu Nov 20, 2014 9:39 pm

Hey all,

I've put a few thoughts on my site about the tactics used on Tuesday, let me know what you think:

http://www.mtannersports.com/gosport-home-nov-2014/

I'm also appealing to anyone who has fancied putting down their thoughts about Bath City this season, from the playing side right the way through to the non playing roles at the club. You can either look to improve your writing skills with a straight forward match report, feature article on players/opponents or have a go at interviews which I'm looking to expand on in the new year.

Also if you're passionate about a different sport or team then get involved too. Looking forward to hearing from you, young, old, new to the club or a grizzled supporter.

Many thanks in advance,

Mark

You've lost me a bit here - who is leading the training and what are the perks for getting involved?

Well if anyone wants to write an article about Bath City, or other sporting subjects, then get in touch basically...

No training involved just advice from me if needed. Perks are building an online portfolio on the site to showcase your work for personal pride or to help improve your CV.

The website has been established for 6 months now and I've had articles from 4 other writers now with two becoming regular contributors. The readership keeps growing and I need more people to contribute to keep it growing.

So if this sounds like it would appeal to you then get in touch and we'll have a chat!

It doesn't but thanks for clearing it up! I'm hoping editing a programme should be enough to get my name in the spotlight if I go down that route. Good luck with it all.

Cheers, glad I could clear it up. It's been a long day!

Yeah programme editor is a decent step on that route already.

I'm looking really for any younger fans or students, be it 6th form or uni. Just need some more bodies on board as I have some big plans for it but need the manpower now to follow it through.

That sort of thing interests me but I'm not sure I'd be any good!

I'd be able to do a report on the Chelmsford game this weekend if you aren't going.

Thanks Thomas a Chelmsford report would be great, I'm PM you the email address to send it to. It can either be a straight forward match report (factual style) or a more personal report of the day in general. I'll leave it up to you, it's your name going on it after all!

I'll be at Larkhall or Keynsham due to a lack of time and money.

Did you like the Somerset cricket article then Mr Powell? There will be a player interview coming soon hopefully too! It's got to be Somerset's year next year, new coach and all!
