Re: Pre Season Friendlies
I’ll be at a wedding. An impromptu debut for whoever’s replacing me with the tannoy.

I'll be on the way back from Scotland. I doubt I'll be replaced.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Assuming we don’t arrange any more, five is our fewest since we went into the 1991/92 season on the back of four. The first of which was 30 July, our last this year is 27 July.
First time we’ve only had one away friendly since 1983, when we played Keynsham at Clandown.
Usually I’d complain that the pre-season break is too short, but at least I’ll see about a quarter of the season before I move on.

I believe there is one more at home on July 30 with the opponent to be confirmed.

First time we've only had six friendlies since...
...2014
Only lost one of them, then started the season with 0-3 at Concord and 0-4 v Basingstoke.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
I felt that we played too many pre-season friendlies over the last few seasons, for the players, so this is a welcome reduction. But as Martin says some good fixtures this year.

Agree with you there
Hopefully County will put out a strong side with the new signings all on display. No doubt it will be our traditional defeat at Twerton.
