Beginning to look like a team with prospects.

With injured players to return we haven't seen the best of us so it bodes well.

Any news of Lemonheigh-Evans progress?

Good result and well done those who travelled and made the noise I could hear on the BCIR commentary.

Probably our most impressive performance so far and against a team who always looked threatening. Would have probably been more clear cut if the 2nd penalty had been converted after a bizarre couple of minutes. Our old friend Herring was shown a red for the foul but then after consulting with the lino, the ref changed it to a yellow. I've never seen that before. Compton's second was a really excellent finish.

It's been a long few days. Felt like I'd hardly returned from Hungerford; sorry, Concord, on Saturday.

I'll blame the view or something.

Should have had the game wrapped up before Hungerford scored, so made it a bit more nervy. Compton's second was lovely, one of the best finishes I have seen in years.

Great 3 wins. Just to think it was only a week ago we had gone in 1 nil down against Oxford after a dire showing in the first half. Amazing how things can turn around so quickly. Credit to the players who have kept going through a testing amount of games and injuries. Lets hope we can now build some serious momentum. Compton looks a great signing!!!

Don't get to many away games but managed to see the game last evening and I have to say that overall it was a pretty impressive, solid and competitive performance all round, especially in the 2nd half.

Morgan was again immense up front in the air and on the deck - he is twice the player he was last season and always looks dangerous. Batten & the now slimmer & fitter Jones impressively took almost everything in the air at the back and young Southwood looks a really confident keeper now and is much more in control on high crosses and again pulled off a top point blank save near the end which would have made it 2-2 with no time to respond. He is also started shouting and organising things with his defence as well, so my early season doubts about him have diminished hugely.

Jack Compton could - and should - have had a hat-trick and he really is that little bit of extra class and quality when you need it. He is never going to win you any 50-50 challenges or run all day long, but at this level when he delivers it is almost always dangerous and leads to some form of chaos or panic for the opposition defence. His 2nd goal was a really sweet finish - when most players would have needed at least a touch - he backed himself and just gave their 6'-6'' keeper no chance on the half volley.

Amankwaah & Straker were both pretty sound at full back and Artus, although not back to his best yet, did a great job alongside the very competitive but not always too accurate Ryan Case. The only player not really up to speed at the moment in Nick McCootie who looks a bit low on confidence and desperately needs a goal to get his mojo back.

Nat Jarvis put in a good shift up front and was unlucky not to score with a brilliant header from a Compton cross when their keeper pulled off a real 'worldie' save and in all honesty if the 2nd penalty had gone in we could have won 4-1. The last 10 minutes were a bit 'squeaky bum' time after they scored but unlike in the past, our solid resilience at the back just held on for a very deserved 3 points.

All in all a really enjoyable evening out....lets hope Gary and the squad can now keep this new found momentum going. Very Happy
