Roman for a Day 2017

Post by Palms on Sat Jul 08, 2017 3:28 pm

Rome wasn't built in a day, but YOU can be a Roman for a day once again this year.

Feel what the boys in black and white feel as they arrive at the ground and prepare for a match in the official changing rooms. Live the experience of a Bath City hero as you cross the threshold onto the hallowed turf of Twerton Park, adorning the famous stripes to strut your stuff at the Home of Football.

For just £20 you could take your place in the annals of history by scoring a winner at the Bath End just like Birdy, Charlie, Scotty or Watto, or making that heroic last minute tackle or save like Jim Rollo, Dan Ball, Kenny Allen, Moggy or Evo.

The day will be filmed by Bath City's cameraman and the full match and highlights will be uploaded for sharing with friends and family. All players will get a minimum of 60 minutes of play.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will go towards Gary Owers' playing budget via the Pledge Fund, more information on the fund at http://bathcityfc.com/pledge_letter_1718.docx

All ages (14+) and abilities are welcome to play, as with last year's match the focus is purely on fun and inclusion.
Kit will be provided, just ensure you bring your boots, shinpads and a towel.
Meet time at Twerton Park is 10:15am, kick off 11am admission for family, friends and other spectators is free.
More info and booking details will posted in here soon!

The match is Sunday 23rd July beginning at 10:15 for an 11am kick off, please ensure you're available that day before booking your place. The match fee is £20.
Places will be booked on a first come first served basis, any supporters interested in taking part after all places are filled will be on a reserve list in case of drop outs. If interest is high the possibility of another match in the near future will be explored with those on the reserve list having priority booking for that.
After booking, if at any point you have to cancel please do so at the earliest opportunity to allow those on the reserve list to take your place.
