Will see how many other games in the area are affected. No idea if it's just the location or how the pitch is maintained, but Havant seem to suffer a number of postponements. Pretty sure this is the third or fourth time it has been against us.

Hey ho, I wasn't going anyway, now have to decide if I search afar for another game or have an afternoon off.

Perhaps WSM can be paired with Havant next year at this time. I see Poole look likely to come up - perhaps they will be our Xmas opponents in 2016.

Personally, I'd kill off these Bank Holiday fixtures - the Boxing Day and New Years Day fixtures are fine and tend to attract good crowds but this one is just one game too many for clubs - and fans too if attendances over the last few years are taken into account - the nadir was surely reached last year when we had to go to Maidenhead on a Sunday and just over 300 turned up. Part time players don't need 2 games in 3 days and the pitches could do with a break as well. Those games played today may well put Saturday's matches at risk.

I see there are no Southern League games today - time for the same to apply at this level.

Unfortunately that's exactly what we will get now. Havant play at home on a Monday, so we will still have 2 games in 3 days......although an extra 4 hours 45 minutes to recover.
